Inverted microscope AE31E (with florescence option)

Inverted microscopes have the light source above while the objectives are under the specimen, thus “inverted”. Usually inverted microscopes are used to examine live cell cultures which are grown in flasks or wells in liquid medium.

The AE31E inverted microscope by Motic fits multiple applications and enables multiple research functions, Led illumination, phase and big, comfortable stage as a standard.

In addition, it is possible to upgrade it with centrable 30W/6V halogen Koehler illumination and fluorescence lighting.

Complementing the uniform illumination is the ELWD 0.30 N.A. condenser (72mm working distance) for large sample and carriers, which can be adjusted and centered to provide the optimum amount of illumination for each sample.

  • Binocular head Siedentopf type, 45º inclined
  • CCIS Plan Achromatic objective PL4X
  • CCIS Plan Achromatic Phase objective PL PH10X, LWD PL PH20X, LWD PL PH40X
  • Plain stage, glass and metal inserts
  • ELWD N.A. 0.30 condenser
  • Phase slider, centrable PH1, brightfield, PH3

Phase contrast from 10X to 40X objective magnification is an integral part of all standard package.
